Welcome!

Greetings from the new board of EU-reka for the 2024/25 academic year! We’re thrilled you’re here!

We are passionate about giving you the best experiences in your LLMs, whether it be through social, academic or career events, or out annual Brussels trip in the spring. Whatever your cup of tea, we have something for you! If you’d like to join one of our committees to help plan these fun events, please don’t hesitate to sign up. Alternatively, becoming a member is just as rewarding, as you’ll have direct access to all of our activities – don’t wait too long to become a member as registration will be closing in the new year.

Board 2023-2024

Livia Labelle 

Chair

Livia is the Chair of this the EU-Reka’s 2024-2025 Board. She started her legal education in France, having completed an LLB in French Law, a dual diploma in Business Law and Common Law and a Master in Business Law at Paris-Saclay University. This year she is an LLM candidate in Competition Law and Regulation.
Livia’s main responsibilities are to make sure that the association runs smoothly, organizes a lot of interesting events and makes itself known in Amsterdam.​

Paul Juurlink 

Vice Chair

Having finished his degree in European studies and an LLM in European competition law at UVA, Paul is now finishing his second masters in European private law, His duties include the social committee aswell as being the vice chair of the Eureka board

 

Rachel Scott

Secretary General

Rachel is the secretary of this years board. After finishing her LLB in European law at Maastricht university, she moved to the larger city of Amsterdam to expand her expertise through a LLM in European Competition Law and Regulation at the UVA. Rachel’s role as a secretary is to ensure the effective communication between board member’s, members of the committees and others.

Juliëtte Eijssen

Treasurer

Juliëtte is the Treasurer of this year’s board. Having finished an LLB in Dutch Law at Leiden University, she now studies in the programme European Competition Law and Regulation and Dutch Corporate Law at UvA. Juliëtte’s main responsibilities lie in overseeing the financial matters of the organization and ensuring that we have the necessary funds for the events.


 

Hidde Stammers 

External Affairs Commissioner

Hidde has completed a bachelors of law at the University of Amsterdam, he now is enrolled in the EU-law track, while also taking competition law courses. Hidde’s main responsibilities include organizing career and academic events.

He is responsible for putting academic and career events together and hopes to get as many students as possible involved.
